APPALACHIAN AVRIL

A Hemingway granddaughter on her dam's side, 5Peruvian Silverado on her sire's side, this well-bred, lovely girl has produced 4 strong healthy cria for us. Sensible and easily handled, Avril has been shown by a child as young as 8 years old in performance classes, and placed well as a juvenile and yearling in competitive halter classes at large shows. Excellent mothering ability, ample milk production, and substantial growth rate by her crias are the sought after, often overlooked heritable traits that Avril brings to the table. Her obvious density has been consistently passed on, and her offspring Royal Esquire, is now in use as a blue ribbon winning herdsire.

Nova is a spectacular maiden female, ready to be bred after her next halter show Fall of 2010. She has notorious grandsires on top and bottom of her pedigree, The Aga Khan and Peruvian Hemingway, both of whom have amazing progeny legacies. Appalachian Win One For The Gipper

Gipper is an unproven male with the conformation of a lineman, just as his name would imply.  Straight, correct, dense bone, and a handsome picture all the way around.  His most striking feature is the luster of his fleece; a lovely brightness that will make gorgeous yarn. Shown as a juvenile, he took a 6th place in a class of 13 in full fleece halter at the 2008 Virginia Classic show, and also competed in Open Obstacle. AVIANA FARMS ROSETTA

Rosetta is an experienced dam who catches easily in one breeding.  Great mothering instincts make her a welcome asset to any herd, especially for novice owners.  Bred to Shahzada of Accoyo Endurance, white, cria due April 2011. MR. O'DAY'S ELIZA

Eliza is a tall,statuesque girl with buttery smooth fleece.  Her sire has done well in both fleece and halter competitions, finishing 2nd in adult composite class, AOBA National Conference Show 2004.  Eliza's first cria, a darling brown girl, hit the ground August 2010, and Eliza will be re-bred for a Sept. 2011 cria.  Second year breedback included in price.

AJF BOSCOE

This strapping boy would be a handsome sight in your pasture.  Boscoe has been gelded, and is appropriate as a pet quality or fiber male. He is well-built and an easy keeper.  Paired with another gelding, we would offer a price reduction on the pair.

This pretty, feminine maiden is confirmed pregnant, due May 2011, bred to He's Dracula's Peruvian Go Boy, white full Peruvian, 1/2 Accoyo.  Mojito is a sensible, good-sized girl, and was shown as a yearling at the 2009 Palmetto Classic in Clemson taking 4th in her class.
