APPALACHIAN AVRIL

This spring blossom is a lovely coppery brown color, with tremendous fleece volume.  Loads of crimp on this sweet girl, and a wonderful pedigree to bring to your herd.  Her sire is a stunning black, with excellent conformation.  Her dam won Best of Show for her fleece at the 2002 Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair.

Her grandsire is the spectacular Hemingway, and she has the amazing density he so readily passes on.  Avril was shown as a juvenile at the OABA Alpacafest 2004, placing 3rd in a class of 10, with 2 Stachowski and 2 Magical Farms entries in the ring.  She has been handled in performance classes by a child as young as 8 years old.  Free breedback to Longo's Mr. O'Day, light fawn son of Brazil. She has produced two beautiful males, one med. brown, one light fawn. Due May 2008 bred to Mr. O'Day.

AJF BOSCOE

Boscoe grew by leaps and bounds as a young cria, and soon was dominating males much older than he.  A great-grandson of Hemingway, he has correct, straight legs, strong topline, excellent shoulder angle and a good well-sprung chest.  He has a fantastic, typey huacaya head, and is by far the most macho young male we've seen on our place yet.

APPALACHIAN CRUISER

This young herdsire has a great personality, straight legs, and nice fineness for a black animal.  His first two cria will hit the ground this fall, and we can't wait to see what he has produced.  An injury to one testicle has been examined by a vet, and should not impair his fertility.  If you choose to use him as a gelding, we will substantially reduce his price.

APPALACHIAN DODGER

Dodger was a spunky, healthy cria the minute he hit the ground.  Correct conformation, with a beautiful deep color, black muzzle and ears, with black in his pedigree.... could possibly be herdsire material.  His dam is a tall, well-built black female.  His sire has done well in both fleece and halter competitions, finishing 2nd in adult composite class, AOBA National Conference 2004, and two Blue Ribbons in halter classes in 2005.  Dodger is ready to leave his mom's side and join your herd right now.

AJF FRANKLYN

If you are looking for the teddy-bear type, Franklyn will catch your eye.  Darling, wooly face, great top-knot and fuzzy ears on a sharp boy with good stature, great bone density, and bright lustrous fleece.  Franklyn was shown as a juvenile at the Southern Select show and took 3rd in a very competitive class.  Lovely, soft handle on this boy.

AJF GRACIE

This little girl has a beautiful reddish brown fleece with loads of crimp and fantastic coverage and density.  Great overall conformation is the reason she will be traveling to Virginia to show in October.  Her sire has produced multiple blue ribbon winners, and we have high hopes for our little Gracie.  Two free breedbacks to any of our herdsires.

AJF INDIANA

Indiana is a strapping young lad with great bone density and a strong body frame.  Wonderful, consistent crimpy fleece and lots of it make him a fine specimen.  Ready to leave his mom Nov. 07.

MR. O'DAY'S ELIZA

Eliza is a tall girl with an inquisitive personality.  Correct legs, bite, and overall conformation.  She is ready to breed this fall, and if purchased open, would come with two free breedings.

AVIANA FARMS ROSETTA

Rosetta is a sweet girl, easily caught and easily handled.  She has produced strong, thriving cria, and has an abundant milk supply.  Her last boy quickly surpassed his pasture mates in height and weight though he was 4 months younger.  Bred to our beautiful herdsire Enrique, due October 2007.  Free breedback to any of our herdsires.

APPALACHIAN ROYAL ESQUIRE

Royal will be a great asset to your breeding program someday.  The abundance of fleece on this guy is incredible!  He was shown at the 2007 Southern Select as a juvenile, taking 5th place, and though his stature placed him low (he had some growing to do) the judge remarked favorably on his fleece characteristics and volume.  If you are looking for the Hemingway line, Royal is your boy.
